Sue's New Saddle

This Western show saddle is made on a barrel racing tree with a pleasure horn!  I wanted something to hold me in more than my current pleasure saddle as I venture into the land of reining. (Not that I think my fatty pleasure horse will do any massive sliding stops, but we'll give it a go!). It has higher cantle and and nice sized swell. I chose roughout leather on the seat and fenders, to give me the extra grip.  Black inlaid silver and black seat. The hand carved roses are a traditional rose, the kind you might find in any botanical garden in the world.  Most of all, it's comfy, really comfy. I didn't even get a sore butt after the first ride!
